How do I see the figures for a single website?
If your account measures more than one website, you pick it under “Website” in the period row at the top of Overview, Customer journeys, Channels & attribution, Check budget and Commerce & products. Orders or leads count for the website where they came in. Costs and ad contacts count only through the campaigns you assign to the website under “Campaigns”.
Can I narrow the reports down to one website?
What counts towards a website
- Orders or leads and their revenue belong to the website where they came in. Attribution still uses all of the person’s contacts, including ads that belong to no website.
- Visits and events belong to the website where they were measured.
- Costs, impressions, clicks and opens belong to a campaign. They count only for the website you assigned the campaign to and are not divided among other websites.
Assigning campaigns
- 01Open “Campaigns”. With two or more websites, the “Website” column appears there.
- 02Pick the website each campaign leads to. “No website” removes the assignment.
- 03In the overview, pick the shop under “Website” at the top. Ad spend, CPA and ROAS then cover the campaigns of that website.
Note
If no campaign is assigned to a website, it shows no ad spend, no CPA and no ROAS, and the reason is stated. A campaign belongs to at most one website: if it leads to two shops, its costs are missing from both reports until you split it.
Note
The assignment is a view and also applies to past periods. It does not change measured figures, and the report across all websites stays as it is.
A journey belongs to the website where it started or where the order was placed. A cohort under commerce is the customers whose first purchase was on this website, with their later purchases there. Data status always shows the whole account. When you switch between these reports, the selected website stays. In the chat and via MCP you name the website by its name, its site ID or its address. In the read API, siteId narrows the results, using the site ID from the setup. The Shopify app always shows the figures of its own shop, even if your account measures other websites.

- How do I add a website?
How do I add another website or domain?
Under “Setup → Websites and allowed domains”, “Add a website” opens the form, also for a second website; during the first run of the setup it is a step of its own. A name and the full address are enough; the site ID and write key are created automatically. Adding it needs no DPA, measuring does.
- Which metrics exist and how are they calculated?
How are ROAS, CPA and conversion rate derived?
Metrics come from measured quantities and, where attribution is involved, from the chosen model. Cost-based metrics require ad spend to have been imported or synced.
- How do I structure channels and campaigns?
Which levels exist, and how deep do I need to model them?
The structure has five levels: channel, campaign, ad group, ad, creative. Channel and campaign are required; you only create the deeper levels if you want to evaluate at that level.
- How do I set up Metrunio in Shopify?
How do I connect my Shopify store to Metrunio?
You install the Metrunio app in your store via its installation link: from the setup assistant in the portal or from our email. If you do not have a Metrunio account yet, the app creates one without a second sign-up once you accept the terms and conclude the data processing agreement with two tick boxes; an existing account you connect by signing in to the portal. Measurement starts only once the DPA is concluded, and then covers storefront, checkout and order at once, with no change to your theme code.
- What does Metrunio cost?
Which plans are there, and what happens if I go over?
Five plans, tiered by events per month: Start (free), Pro (€79), Growth (€249), Scale (€599) and Agency (€299 with two client accounts, €49 per further one, 250,000 events per client account); every four delivered impressions count as one event. Above the allowance, every started 10,000 events cost €3, and a plan never costs more than the next plan up would cost at the same volume.

Is there an MCP server for Metrunio?
Through Metrunio’s MCP server. It exposes the same read tools as the portal chat. Claude and ChatGPT sign in via OAuth: you choose in the portal which account they may read. Other tools use an API key of scope “read”, the same one a script would use for /v1/data.
