How do I see all clients at a glance?

Under “Client overview” every client account of your agency sits in one row, those needing action first: whether measurement and ad accounts are running, how much of the quota the client has used this month, plus events, conversions, revenue and attribution rate for the last 7, 30 or 90 days. Measurement, ad accounts and figures appear only for clients in which you are a member yourself. On Mondays, an email to the agency’s admins sums up which clients have something open.

Is there an overview of all of my agency’s client accounts?

“Client overview” appears in the navigation at the top, with the main areas, as soon as your tenant has client accounts, prepared ones included. Without client accounts the menu item does not exist.

  • Measurement: the status from the client’s setup check (“All in order”, “Suggestions” or, in red, “Action needed”), the number of open findings and the most urgent one with its guide. A click on the number of findings opens the client under “Data status”.
  • Ad accounts: for each ad platform and direction (receive costs, return conversions) the status you also see under “Data connections”, the worst first. It is red for “Error”, “Incomplete” and “paused (not in your plan)”, amber in test mode and green when everything runs; a paused connection stays grey. A click opens the client under “Data connections”.
  • Quota this month: the client’s events since the start of the month, counted as on your invoice, as a share of the 250,000 it brings into the shared quota. Without a colour, because the quota applies to all clients together: a client above 100 per cent only costs more once all of them together exceed it. You see this figure for clients you are not a member of as well.
  • Last event: when something last came in.
  • Events, conversions and revenue: measured, in the production environment; revenue before refunds, in the client’s currency. If a client has acquisition values, their sum appears below as a set value, never in revenue.
  • Attribution rate: the share of conversions preceded by a measured touchpoint, under the client’s default model.
  • Open: switches into the client account and shows its overview. The tenant picker at the top takes you back.
  • Monthly report: the client’s PDF for one calendar month, with your agency’s name and logo in the header. What it contains is explained under “How do I give my client a monthly report as a PDF?”.

The last 7, 30 or 90 days are counted per client in its own time zone: a client in New York gets its days, not your agency’s. After opening, the client’s overview shows the same figures.

Who comes first

The table puts clients that need action first, then those with suggestions, then the rest, each by name. Action needed means something is not running for this client: measurement, the cost import or returning conversions to an ad platform. A suspended client account counts too, because it does not measure. Suggestions means it runs, but something deserves a look, such as an ad account in test mode. The quota plays no part in the order.

On Mondays by email

  • If at least one client has something open, the agency’s admins get an email on Mondays: one line per client with the reason, those needing action first. If all clients are in order, none is sent.
  • It names the same findings as the table. Measurement and ad accounts appear only for clients you are a member of; that a client is suspended appears for everyone. The email says how many clients it did not check for that reason.
  • At most one per week. You unsubscribe yourself under “Settings → Notifications → Your emails”.

Below the table you find the usage per client and calendar month, counted as on your invoice and available as a CSV download. How to read it and pass it on is explained under “How do I work with several clients as an agency?”.

Why a client shows no figures

  • No access: you are not a member of this client account. The overview reads only what you could see after opening it. Whoever manages the client account can invite you under “Team & roles”.
  • Prepared: the client account exists, but measurement only starts once the agency plan is booked.
  • Suspended: the client account is not measuring; opening it shows why.

Note

The table puts clients side by side and adds no total across them: a client’s figures stay in its row. It is calculated on every visit, client by client. With many client accounts that takes a few seconds.

Caution

There is no consent rate per client. When someone declines in the banner without having agreed before, their browser sends nothing, not even the refusal. A rate would therefore rest only on the browsers that sent something and come out too high.

  • How do I work with several clients as an agency?

Can I manage several tenants from one login?

Every client is a separate tenant with its own data, and one login can be a member of several tenants and switch between them in the portal. Data ends at the tenant boundary, technically as well.

  • How do I give my client a monthly report as a PDF?

Is there a monthly report as a PDF that I can pass on to my client?

Under “Clients”, every client account has a monthly report as a PDF: key figures, channels and campaigns for one calendar month, with your agency’s name and logo in the header and “Measured with Metrunio” in the footer. On the 2nd of each month it is also sent as an attachment to your agency’s admins who are members of the client account themselves.

  • What does the setup health centre do?

How do I find out what is missing in my setup?

The health centre runs a diagnosis across your setup and reports every finding with cause, effect, error code and the steps to fix it, rather than just an error message.

  • How do I sync ad spend automatically?

Can Metrunio fetch cost directly from Meta and Google Ads?

Under “Data connections” you connect an ad account, and Metrunio fetches daily cost per campaign on its own, first a few minutes after connecting, then about every six hours and retroactively, because the platforms revise their figures. “Fetch now” on the card requests an extra fetch in between. For Google Ads and Meta you sign in; for TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft Advertising you enter an access token, which is stored encrypted.

  • Can I send conversions back to the advertising platforms?

    How does conversion pushback work?

From the Growth plan, conversions go back to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft Advertising. Matching happens exclusively through each platform’s click identifier: fbclid, gclid, ttclid, li_fat_id or msclkid. Conversions without a matching click are skipped with a stated reason. Per destination you choose whether purchases are reported with the revenue or the contribution margin, and whether only purchases by new customers go out.

  • Which emails does Metrunio send, and how do I stop them?

I would like fewer emails. Which ones are there, and what can I unsubscribe from?

There are five kinds: operational messages (invitation, password, invoice, event allowance notices and the end of the trial), the weekly or monthly report, getting-started notes during the first few weeks, for agencies two emails about their clients (the weekly email about clients with open items and the monthly report as a PDF), and the newsletter. The first kind cannot be unsubscribed from, because without it access or billing does not work. You unsubscribe yourself from the report, the getting-started notes and the two client emails under “Settings → Notifications → Your emails”; with the Admin role you can also switch the report and the notes off for everyone there. You unsubscribe from the newsletter through the link in every issue.

  • Which roles exist and what may they do?

Who is allowed to do what in the portal?

There are three roles inside a tenant (Admin, Analysis and Read only) plus two platform-side roles. Every API route checks the permission server-side; hiding things in the interface is only the display of that.

  • When does a day start in the reports?

Which time zone do reports, the chat and the APIs use?

A day runs from midnight to midnight in your account’s time zone; the default is Europe/Berlin, and you can change it under “Settings”. “The last 7 days” are seven whole calendar days including today, and a custom period includes its last day in full. The same rule applies to the overview, reports, costs, the chat, the MCP server and the read API.

  • What does Metrunio cost?

Which plans are there, and what happens if I go over?

Five plans, tiered by events per month: Start (free), Pro (€79), Growth (€249), Scale (€599) and Agency (€299 with two client accounts, €49 per further one, 250,000 events per client account); every four delivered impressions count as one event. Above the allowance, every started 10,000 events cost €3, and a plan never costs more than the next plan up would cost at the same volume.
