Which languages does Metrunio support?
The website and the customer portal are fully available in German, English, Spanish and French, including number and date formats. Help articles, emails and invoices, the weekly report and alerts included, exist in German and English. If you read Spanish or French, you get them in English, help and emails with a note in your language.
Can I use the portal in Spanish or French?
The language picker sits in the top right of every page, on the website and in the portal. It applies per login, not per tenant: one person on a team can work in French and the next in German without getting in each other's way. The exception is the invoice: it has one language for the whole account.
| Area | Languages |
|---|---|
| Website | German, English, Spanish, French |
| Customer portal | German, English, Spanish, French |
| API messages and error texts | German, English, Spanish, French |
| Chat in the portal and on the website | German, English, Spanish, French |
| Help articles | German, English; Spanish and French read English |
| Emails sent by the system, weekly report and alerts included | German, English; Spanish and French read English |
| Personal replies from support | German, English |
| Invoices and receipts | German or English, one language per account; Spanish and French get English |
| Terms and data processing agreement | German, English; in Spanish and French the German version |
Emails Metrunio sends on its own go out in the language you last signed in with: about the end of the trial, the event allowance, the measurement domain, billing, the weekly report and the alerts. The texts exist in German and English; if you read Spanish or French you get the English version with a note in your language. Each person on a team gets their own language, so the same weekly report goes to one colleague in German and to another in English, CSV attachment included. If you switch the language in the portal, emails follow from your next sign-in. An invitation goes out in the language it was sent in, also when it is resent.
Invoices have one language per account, not per person, because an invoice can only have one. You set it to German or English under “Plan & usage”. The default is the language in which the person who purchases first uses the portal; Spanish and French get English. The payment provider shows its payment page and the page with your invoices in the language of your interface, Spanish and French included. “How do I pay, and where are my invoices?” has the details.
The chat in the portal and on the website answers in the language of the interface, Spanish and French included. Its sources are the help articles; in Spanish and French it relies on the English version and links to it.
Why the help articles have two languages and the interface four
An interface is made of short, repeating labels. A help article is technical prose: it explains attribution, consent and measurement limits, and a machine translation of that would not just read badly, it would be wrong in places. We would rather give you an English article with a note than a Spanish one you cannot rely on. German and English are maintained in full, from the interface to the report and the alert. Spanish and French remain interface languages; translating the help articles is not planned at present.
Numbers and dates follow the chosen language as well: 1.234,56 in German, 1,234.56 in English, 1 234,56 in French. Files are the exception: in a CSV export and in the weekly report CSV, numbers use a full stop and no thousands separator in every language, so your spreadsheet reads them as numbers.
Website addresses carry the language too
Every language has its own addresses: the pricing page is at /de/preise in German, /en/pricing in English, /es/precios in Spanish and /fr/tarifs in French. Switch the language in the top right and you stay on the same page; the address changes with you.
Older links keep working. Open /en/preise and you are permanently redirected to /en/pricing; a bookmark, a shared link or an address from an old email still gets you there.
The identifier of a help article is the exception: it stays the same in every language. The same article sits at /de/hilfe/consent-grundsatz and at /en/help/consent-grundsatz. The path is translated, the identifier is not. So a link named by an error message in the product reads the same in every language.

- How do I invite more users?
How do colleagues get access?
Under “Team & roles” you invite people by email and assign the role at the same time. The invitation leads into the same tenant; no second account is created. How many people you can add depends on the plan; on the free Start plan it is just you.
- How do I reach support?
Who do I turn to with a question, and how fast will I get an answer?
Through the chat on the website, by email to support@metrunio.com or in the portal under “Help”; anything our help centre covers, the chat answers immediately and names the articles. On plans from Pro, we get back to you by the next working day if your measurement fails, and answer all other questions in the order they arrive. On the free Start plan, the help centre and chat answer your questions, and a person answers security, data protection and legal questions.
- How is Metrunio built technically?
Which technical building blocks does Metrunio run on today?
Data is stored and evaluated in PostgreSQL. A BigQuery analytics mirror runs for all accounts; reports are calculated from it once the data volume warrants it. We do not announce future features: what is listed here exists.
- How do I pay, and where are my invoices?
How do I purchase a plan, switch it, and where do I find invoices?
In the portal under “Plan & usage”: there you book and switch plans, choose monthly or yearly payment and reach invoices, payment methods and, when paying monthly, cancellation at the payment provider. Paid monthly there is no minimum term, and yearly payment commits you for twelve months; cancelling means moving to the free Start plan, and closing your account is a separate step. Through the Shopify app you can pay in Shopify instead.
