How do I inspect a single journey?
Under “Customer journeys” you open a journey by its order number and see ad contacts, visits, shop steps and conversions in one sequence with the time. Each touchpoint names time, channel, campaign and the share under the model of the context row; the side column says how that model splits the conversion across channels, and what was recorded.
Where can I trace which contacts preceded a conversion?
- The list starts with order number and amount; the pseudonymous journey identifier sits at the end of the row. Under “Orders & goals”, the order number leads straight to the journey.
- One timeline: impression, viewable impression, click, visit, product viewed, added to cart, form, checkout, purchase, in that order with the time. A visit appears once; its page views expand on the visit. A new campaign signal within the same visit is a touchpoint of its own. A conversion reported without a visit (server, import) stands on its own.
- Per touchpoint: time, channel, campaign and the share under the model of the context row; without a choice that is your default model. You choose the model in the journey list, and it carries into the detail view and the model comparison.
- Under “More about this touchpoint”: ad, creative, placement, source, data origin, time to conversion and the share per attribution model (“First touch 100%, linear 25%”), with the amount that follows from it.
- The side column: “Attribution of this conversion” with the shares per channel under the chosen model, expandable for all models, plus “Compare models” with the same period and model; “Orders & goals” with refund and set value; “What was recorded” with data basis, identity attributes, missing signals and the sentence on what is never recorded. An unattributed conversion names its reason there, the same as in the conversion list.
- A test data switch, to verify your setup.
Note
Every journey has a public identifier starting with jr_. The privacy area accepts that identifier when a data subject requests access or deletion.
The list initially shows only journeys with at least one conversion. That is a filter, not the state of your data: journeys without a completion are only hidden. “All journeys” shows the full set.
- Filters: with conversion only, without conversion, all journeys, cart without purchase, two or more touchpoints, with a viewable impression, by the channel of the first touchpoint and by campaign. From the model comparison you can also reach the journeys of one channel.
- Sorting per column: start, touchpoints, conversions, value. Sorting runs over the whole set, not just the visible page.
- Pagination with a total count, so it stays visible how much is not on the page.
- Search by journey identifier, order number or lead ID. The search keeps the period and filters. With no match, “Reset search” clears only the search, “Reset all filters” the filters as well.
Filter, sorting, search and page number are part of the address. A link to a particular view shows the recipient the same excerpt, and the way back from a journey leads to the same list.
“With viewable impression” shows journeys with at least one viewable impression, whichever the channel. Combined with “First channel”, the list answers questions such as “Which journeys with a viewable impression start with display?”. The first channel is the channel of the journey’s earliest touchpoint. A later touchpoint via the same channel does not count for it. From the post-view coverage under “Channels & attribution”, “See journeys with a viewable impression” leads straight to this filter.
“Campaign” shows journeys with at least one touchpoint from the selected campaign, wherever it sits in the journey. That shows you which paths a campaign touched and how they continued. Archived campaigns are in the list too, marked “(archived)”; it names up to 200 campaigns alphabetically, and you reach any further one through the breakdown. Under “Channels & attribution”, in the breakdown by campaign, “View touchpoints” leads straight to this filter for the same period.

- How is a journey created?
How do individual signals become one coherent journey?
A journey is a chain of measured signals with timestamp, source and identifier, not a reconstruction. Signals are joined when they carry a shared, unambiguous identifier.
- Does every page view count as a touchpoint?
When does a visit to my website become a touchpoint in the journey?
A visit is one touchpoint, however many pages are viewed in it; the individual page views do not count separately. The same visit only adds another touchpoint when a new campaign signal arrives: a different click ID, different UTM parameters or a different external referrer.
- Can I trace what someone did in my shop?
How do I see which pages someone viewed, even if the visit did not end in a purchase?
Every journey’s timeline shows it: each visit with its measured steps, with or without a conversion. Products viewed, cart, form, checkout and purchase stand in the sequence, and the pages viewed expand on the visit. In the journey list, “Without conversion” and “Cart without purchase” find exactly those visits.
- How do I export data?
Can I recalculate the numbers myself?
Under “Exports & AI connections” you download CSV files for conversions, customer journeys and attribution by channel, with the same values the reports show, so you can recalculate them yourself. Conversions and journeys appear individually, row by row, and every row states the period, the environment and the time of the data.
- How do I handle access, deletion and objection?
A data subject exercises their rights. What do I do?
Privacy requests are handled in the portal under “Privacy”, not by ticket. Every request is recorded and logged in the change log; the data subject is located through a pseudonymous identifier.
- How do I save a view of a report?
Can I save a report’s period, filters and model and open them again later?
Under “Saved views” next to the period selection you store the current report with its period, filters and model under a name and open it again with one click. The view belongs to you alone and does not change the tenant’s default model.
