Data quality and troubleshooting
Are bots filtered out?
Obvious bots are detected through a user-agent heuristic and excluded. That is not full bot management.
Do automated requests distort my numbers?
What is detected are requests that identify themselves as bots: search engine crawlers, monitoring services, known tools. Anything presenting itself as an ordinary browser is not reliably detected.
Note
Metrunio shows no separate finding for conspicuous patterns, such as very many impressions with no viewability at all. Detected bots appear as a browser family of their own in the post-view coverage under “Channels & attribution”, and a conversion whose touchpoints all come from bots stays “unattributed” with that reason.

- What does the setup health centre do?
How do I find out what is missing in my setup?
The health centre runs a diagnosis across your setup and reports every finding with cause, effect, error code and the steps to fix it, rather than just an error message.
- Where does measurement end?
What are the limits of Metrunio’s measurement?
Post-view is only measurable where your own tags may be served and the browser returns the view identifier: not every served ad is viewable, and not every viewable one can be linked to the purchase. Without consent, gaps arise deliberately, and a gap stays a gap, not a zero. Attribution describes assignment, not causal advertising effect.
