01 / HOW IT WORKS
How you get your commission.

Write to us through the conversation form. We send you the partner agreement; with it you also agree to settlement by self-billed credit note.
Recommend
You receive your own link with a code. Anyone who creates an account through it is attributed to you. Nobody has to type in a code. If a company came another way, say the next day via the home page or through the Shopify app, let us know within 30 days of its sign-up. We will then attribute it to you afterwards; after that, it is no longer possible. While accounts can only be created with an invitation code, the invitation and your code go in the same link (?invite=…&ref=…).
Get paid
Once the referred company pays, we settle each quarter and send you a credit note. You do not write an invoice.
02 / COMMISSION
What you receive.
- IN THE FIRST YEAR
- 20 % of the paid net revenue in the first 12 months from the first paid invoice.
- AFTER THAT
- 10 % up to month 36. After that the commission for this customer ends.
- ON WHAT
- On the base price and overage, excluding VAT. If the customer pays through a shop system such as Shopify, we first deduct the fee it actually retains. Its statement arrives later, so we start with a provisional rate and reconcile against the statement each quarter. Any difference, either way, appears on the next credit note.
- WHEN
- Each quarter by credit note, with no minimum amount. If we refund a customer something they are entitled to, or a customer reverses a payment, we offset it against the next credit note. A goodwill refund, or one because we failed to deliver, costs you no commission.
AN EXAMPLE, WORKED THROUGH
A shop books Growth for €249 a month and pays through Stripe. In the first year you receive €49.80 a month, in the second and third €24.90. Over three years that is €1,195.20, net.
03 / REQUIREMENTS
Who the programme is for.
For businesses and self-employed people: SEO and marketing agencies, consultants, podcasts, authors. You do not need a Metrunio account of your own.
If you are a customer yourself, the referral credit applies to you instead: one month free for every referred company that pays for three months.
The agency plan is not included. If you run your clients in Metrunio yourself, you are a customer, not a partner. Companies that already had an account with us in the twelve months before registering earn no commission either.
The partner agreement you receive before starting applies. If you are subject to standard VAT, the credit note shows VAT. As a small business it does not, and if you are based abroad it usually does not either, because we then account for the VAT ourselves.
