Getting started
How do I find an order, a journey or an area quickly?
With the search in the portal header: the “Search or open an area” field (or Ctrl+K, Cmd+K on a Mac) searches areas, help articles and your data: order number, lead ID, journey ID and campaign. Every result takes you straight there with Enter or a click; the list shows no figures, those belong in the report with its period and model.
Is there a search across everything in the portal, and what does it find?
- 01Open the search with the “Search or open an area” field in the header or with Ctrl+K (Mac: Cmd+K).
- 02Type what you are looking for: the name of an area (“Data connections”), a question for the help (“post-view”) or, from three characters on, an order number, lead ID, journey ID or campaign name.
- 03Select with the arrow keys and open with Enter, or click the result. Esc closes the search.
- Areas are the entries of your menu. An area your plan does not include is still listed and leads to the page that says from which plan it is available.
- Help articles are searched in the browser, with the same rule as the help page. What you type does not leave your browser for that.
- Orders, journeys and campaigns are requested from the API from three characters on, with your permissions and for the tenant you are working in. Journeys of the last two years, by order number, lead ID or journey ID.
- The result list shows no amounts and no counts. Revenue only applies to a period and a model, and both belong in the report, not in a search list.
If the search does not find an order, it is either older than two years, in another environment (test data) or not yet processed. The journey list with “Custom” in the period and its search field also find older orders.
