FOR SHOPS

Your shop knows the order. Metrunio shows the way there.

Metrunio connects the measured ad contacts with your shop’s orders. You see which contacts came before a purchase, how a model attributes the revenue and where data is missing.

A purchase and its path.

A journey shows the measured contacts before an order and the steps in the shop: product viewed, added to cart, bought. A cart without a purchase has a history too, up to the last recorded step. These are reported events, not a recording of the screen.

Meta reports more than you sold?

The platform reconciliation puts the reported number next to the measured one and goes through the seven points where the two drift apart: period, conversion type, consent, refunds, time zone, attribution window and data status. Whatever is left after that is called “unexplained”. The reported number arrives with the ad costs, and those come with Pro.

PLANS

Start for free, ad costs from €79 a month

Start costs nothing: one website, journeys, click attribution and web analytics. Pro adds ad costs, ROAS, the comparison of all seven models and view contacts with your own tag; Growth, at €249, adds sending conversions back to the ad platforms.

01 / WHAT YOU GET

What your shop gets.

Installation

Shopify has an app, Shopware 6 and WordPress with WooCommerce each have a plugin. Every other system you connect through Google Tag Manager or the code snippet, and you report orders through the Server Events API. The live test in the portal shows you whether the data arrives.

Refunds

A refund reduces the value of its order, retroactively too. The plugins for Shopware and WooCommerce report refunds themselves, though the Shopware plugin does not report partial refunds. Those arrive, like refunds from other systems, through the Server Events API, with the same order number as the purchase.

Attribution

A rule distributes an order’s revenue across the measured contacts before it. From Pro you put seven rules side by side: the revenue stays the same, only its distribution changes. Whatever cannot be attributed to a contact stands apart as “unattributed”.

Sending conversions back

From Growth, conversions go back to Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft Advertising, with the revenue or the contribution margin and, if you like, only for new customers. They are matched through the platform’s click ID; a purchase without a matching click is skipped with a reason.

Web analytics

Page views, visits, time on site and bounces, on every plan and broken down by channel, page and technology. Only visitors who have consented are counted, and nothing is extrapolated.

Commerce

Under “Commerce & products” you find order value, repeat purchase rate, a product report and customer cohorts by the month of the first purchase. Cost per new customer and contribution margin ROAS appear once ad costs are there, so from Pro, and your shop sends net value and cost of goods.

02 / LIMITS

What you should know first.

Metrunio measures the viewable impression only where a tag of its own may run, so not in the feeds of Meta, Google and TikTok. A viewable impression can only be linked to the purchase in browsers that keep its identifier: Chrome and Edge, not Safari, Firefox and Brave. Viewable impressions are available from Pro; the free plan measures clicks and conversions. All limits of measurement
